We handcraft log houses, log saunas and solid wood furniture from Estonian pine — trained by Norwegian master builders, with decades of experience. A nature-friendly home built to last for generations.
Building a log house by hand is an environmentally friendly choice from the very start — no large factory is needed, and waste is minimal. Around 80% of the energy used in production comes from the wood offcuts themselves.
The pine for our walls comes from Estonian forests; we make our own windows, doors and cladding, or source them from Estonian partners.
You choose the wood species, corner joint and wall thickness — we help design the project, and the result is one of a kind.
Our builders were trained by Norwegian log-building specialists and have been building by hand since 1999.
Log houses are built both in Estonia and elsewhere in Europe, mainly as summer or year-round homes in natural settings. Our log houses are handcrafted to each client's wishes — we use only pre-dried pine, 27–36 cm in diameter, sawn on two sides to a 20 cm wall log with a Norwegian or dovetail corner joint.

We produce our wall logs only from pre-dried material, mainly pine logs 27–36 cm in diameter, which are sawn on two sides into a 20 cm thick wall log.
The sauna is the heart of a country home — a place to wash and unwind, to slow down after a hard working week. We build everything, from the classic smoke sauna to a modern hot tub.
Hand-processed conifer bark mulch for garden beds, hedges and shrubs — a natural way to keep weeds down, free of sawmill wood particles.
It all starts with the plot, the planning conditions and your family's needs. Based on a preliminary design we can settle the layout, windows, doors and structure, and give you an exact quote.
Before installation — round logs awaiting the next stage of processing.
The logs are debarked, sawn, dried, profiled and assembled in the hall according to the design. The parts are then marked and transported to the building site.
Numbered parts make installation easier and help ensure a precise final result when the house is reassembled on site.
If you're looking for a log house that's more than four walls — we have been building them by hand since 1999. Our houses have found homes not only in Estonia but in Scandinavia too. The company is led by Taavi Tuvike, who holds a forestry degree from the Estonian University of Life Sciences. Our master builders learned their craft directly from Norwegian log-building specialists. Production is based in Jeedasküla village, Võru County — Vipson Projekt OÜ was registered in 2002, though the craft itself goes back further.
70–80% of the energy used in handcrafted log building comes from wood offcuts generated along the way, and 90% of what goes into the wall is material grown in the forest.
We give our clients the chance to help design their own house so it's as personal as possible — wood species, corner joint and wall thickness are all chosen together with you.
Our specialists were trained by Norwegian log-building experts. The company is a member of the Estonian Wooden House Association.
